Hello – My dad’s family is Broach from Georgia. We are descendants of Jones Broach, born in King & Queen County, Va @ 1748 and died in Clarke County, Georgia in 1809. He had several children, none named Jones, so I think your Jones may have been a grandchild. This is all very interesting, as I am new to the genealogy trails. I would be very interested in sharing information on the Broach line.

Hi,
Neat page! I think the “bunker” pictures are in the target pits at a rifle range. Established training ranges had underground “pits” for raising and lowering targets for scoring.

You are right, it looks like maybe it is way up in the corner. Who knows, but don’t you just love finding something like this and then it totally conflicts with any evidence that you find? I guess that is what makes genealogy so fun, the chase. I will still keep searching for their link!
